eyes wide open: Ft. francis drake eyewear

September 4, 2015

Glasses: some of us wear sunglasses, some of us NEED to wear eyeglasses all day long.

One thing I truly hate is having to wait each year for my eye insurance benefits to kick in to be able to buy another pair. Just like my sunglasses, I like to switch up my eyeglasses and dress them with what I'm wearing. With eyeglass prices (typically $200+ if you find a good deal for a top brand) it's kind of hard to shop around for multiple pairs of glasses. Because I only have a pair of Ray-Ban Wayfarer's and a pair of Persol eyeglasses, there's not much I can do, other than use my contacts.

I recently found the answer to my prayers: affordable eyeglasses & sunglasses for $95, prescription included provided by Francis Drake Eyewear.

Guys, (and the gals out there) I must say that I'm pretty stocked I discovered Francis Drake Eyewear; the price is affordable, their styles are unique and trendy, and these bad boys are hand made in Italy.

I received my first order just a few weeks ago: I got the Cypress and Berkley eyeglasses. The quality and craftsmanship are superior; definitely not what I was expecting for a pair of $95 eyeglasses. I got a hard case (thank God since I don't like pouches or soft leather cases that can easily damage your glasses) along with a vibrant cleaning cloth.

Ordering a pair (or multiple pairs) is pretty simple:

Once you find the style you like, you can chose from multiple colors, and adjust it to your Rx needs. And if you're picky when it comes to buying glasses just like me, then you can also try their Virtual try-on, hook up your webcam and style any pair of glasses to see if you dig 'em or not. If you have any questions or concerns you can always reach out and someone will get back to you pretty fast! Believe me, they will make sure your experience is pleasant and that you are fully satisfied with your purchase!

Overall, if you're in the market for affordable eyewear, check out Francis Drake Eyewear. You guys know that I do not like to showcase brands or products that I have not tried myself. I wanted to share this positive experience with everyone because you CAN find top-of-the-line eyewear hand made in Italy for less than $100!
